If you walk along George St, you must have noticed this newly opened dessert bar called Teddy's Place..
Their first store opened on the 1st March and I heard that they're going to open another one in Chatswood soon..
They prepare all gelato flavours in store using natural ingredients sourcing locally from Sydney's fresh produce markets. Hence, they claim they are a premium dessert bar with a healthy twist~~
Since there were so many flavours to choose from (they said 32 flavours, but I didn't bother to count it.. LOL).. I let Mr. Nomnom made the decision.. If it was me, I would take ages for sure~~
Mr. Nomnom was given tester to try some of their recommendation flavours.. We tried their Bubble Gum (I don't fancy this one as it looks artificial), Watermelon, Milo and Tiramisu.. We chose Watermelon and Tiramisu and was given some fairy floss on top it..
My favourite one was their Watermelon flavour~ It tasted like eating a real watermelon.. LOL
In overall, the gelato texture is smooth and light.. Not too creamy (I guess some people prefer it to be creamier) and definitely not too sweet for my liking~
Teddy's Place also serves coffee (they use Illy) and some cakes on their other display..
I asked one of their friendly staffs about the dessert I once saw before.. But she said it was no longer on the menu.. =(
