French Toast is one of those things that everybody kind of knows how to make but Paddock does it really well! Crispy and crunchy exterior, fluffy soft interior and the right combination of sweet raspberry syrup, salty maple peanut butter (MY FAVE!) and berry compote's sourness are more than enough to make me completely fall in love from the first bite.
I had their Zucchini Fritters after struggling to decide for couple of minutes (Thanks Patriyah for helping me make up my mind LOL). Served with thinly sliced salmon gravlax, poached egg, avocado, ricotta, and dukkah, the fritters' center is so soft and creamy from the ricotta, but this would taste better (for me) if it had crispy crust around the outside.
Well sometimes I think that morning meals and excellent breakfast don't always have to be about pancakes or eggs. Acai Bowl also can get me excited with its dessert-like look, and healthy benefits. Topped with strawberry and banana slices, coconut flake, pomegranate, granola and goji berry, the texture is a bit thin for my liking and if they topped it more with crunchy granola, this'd definitely make me feel better with my morning choices.
