Time flies and we're now at the end of 2017! Sometimes I wonder where'd all the time go, what have I done this year, and most importantly, where shall I go to celebrate Christmas and New Year?
Are you ready to play hard, eat wild, and finish off 2017 strong?
1. Cabina Bali
Cabina is a great place to chill out with all the minimalist design and surrounding tropical vibe *insert Despacito, the perfect summer song here*. It's a cafe, a bar, a pool paradise with no minimum order wherever you want to be seated. You can hang out with your friends and swim at the same time to cool off on a hot day. Cabina also has a couple of cute floaties to be rented out.
Talking about food, they serve western-style food from brunch dishes to pasta, fries, and chicken wings. Food was tasty and served simple as you can enjoy it while floating on the pool. Also heard starting from December, they serve "Floating Breakfast" from 9am to 11am (in this case advanced booking is very much advisable).
Address:
Jl. Batu Belig Gang Daksina No 1, Canggu
Opening Hours:
8am - 11pm daily (Happy Hours is from 4pm - 6pm)

2. Mrs Sippy Bali
Mrs Sippy Bali, a modern Mediterranean inspired oasis, has one of Bali's largest salt water swimming pools surrounded by lush garden and shady palm trees. You can kickback at their daybeds or take the plunge from their 1, 3, and 5 meter diving platforms. This is also the place where you can enjoy cocktails while waiting for the sun to slowly dips into the evening.

3. Finns Beach Club Canggu
The famous Finns Beach Club which used to be located in Uluwatu, has decided a new place at Berawa Beach in Canggu area. It's a great place to spend a very lazy day in the sunshine while waiting for sunset to come down. Note that it can be very crowded especially during holiday season.

The striking bamboo structure was specifically designed to allow every guest to have a guaranteed sunset view. If you prefer to sit on the beach, they have a lot of bean bags and single/double day-beds (please do note that there is minimum spend applies before 6pm).
Talking about Finns beach club is not complete without mentioning their stunning infinity edge pool with an unbeatable 180 degree ocean view. Feeling thirsty? Just swim up to the pool bar and their bartender is ready to whip up your cocktails.

11am - 10pm

4. Damaria
Da Maria is one of the newest additions in Petitenget, North Kuta area. Heard that it's the brainchild of Maurice Terzini (best known for establishing couple of iconic Australian dining venues - one of them is Bondi Icebergs Dining Room and Bar) and Adrian Reed of Motel Mexicola. They plan to bring the diversity of Italian food, wine, music, fashion, arts and friends with more than a little Capri in the heart of Seminyak.

I like the way they design it with a cool, fresh blue and white palette and bold geometric styling. The ambiance gives the coastal European feeling but also feel like a garden at the same time. There's also a courtyard seating at the back where you can also take photos with their swing chairs (hint: a major ootd spot for sure!)
Da Maria offers simple and classic Italian flavors, such as Pizza, Pasta, traditional Porchetta, as well as the wood-fired grilled dishes. The pizzas are cooked in local Naples inspired lava stone ovens - crisp, thin crust and definitely tasty. Live DJ's will be introduced every night after 10.30pm where you can also enjoy classic Italian favorites, such as the Negroni and Spritz from their bar.
Address:
Jl. Petitenget No. 170 Badung, Bali
Opening Hours:
Lunch from 12 - 3pm
Dinner from 5 - 10.30pm
Late night pizza and bar from 10.30pm
5. Titik Temu Bali
The design is minimalist with cozy ambiance with some tables and coffee bar on the first floor. They also have an outdoor seating on the second floor connected by the wooden stairs, as well as the garden seating with some bean bags and small tables. Other than coffee, they also sell some non-coffee drinks and some western-style food, such as Titik Temu Burger, Kaya French Toast, and many others.
Address:
Jl. Kayu Cendana No. 1, Badung, Bali (next to Sisterfields)
Opening Hours:
8am - 6pm Wedneday - Monday
6. Folie Kitchen
In French, Folie means love to the brink of madness - is created by a French chef who is fascinated by Asian flavor. Deeply influenced by his French cuisine experiences, here through Folie, he attempts to discover something in between.
This place will look better for your insta-business during the day with all their flowery walls, garden, pastel-colored outdoor seating, as well as the natural lighting making it perfect as an ootd-spot. At night, the place is dimly-lit with a more relaxed and intimate ambiance.
Address:
Jl. Subak Sari 30A, Canggu, Bali
Opening Hours:
Monday 8am - 6pm
Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 10pm
Sunday 8am - 9pm
7. Kim Soo Home
Kim Soo is a homewares and design space as well as a cafe in Seminyak. The place gives the fresh and relaxing ambiance with a lot of stylish and decorative products - it's a little bit bohemian, a lil bit ethnic, but also classic at the same time.

During the day, this place is full of sunshine making it a perfect spot to take pictures or simply just to enjoy and relax. Surrounded by white washed walls, Kim Soo also has a small pool at the back of their place.

Their cafe is pretty much the extension of their shop as they serve you with their own product range - here I'm talking about their marble top tables, raw wood, glassware, ceramic, vintage wooden chairs and many more! The food they offer is a simple family favorites - think about Smoothies Bowl, French Toast, their signature Pumpkin and Garlic Quiches that have been part of their Sunday baking for so long, as well as the artisan Farine bagels.
So, I guess I can say Kim Soo is the place where you get to shop, to eat, to take photos, to relax, and to share your precious moments with family and friends.
Address:
Jl. Kayu Aya 21, Seminyak, Bali (near Sea Circus)
Opening Hours:
9am - 10pm daily for the shop and 7.30am - 5.30pm for the cafe.
8. La Laguna
La Laguna is the secluded wooden beachfront bar and restaurant along Berawa Beach (not far from Finn's). The name might sounds familiar to you, as La Laguna is the newest addition to the La Family (La Favela and La Plancha).
From the moment you enter this Spanish, boho-chic, gypsy inspired beach club - you are transported into a mystic and stunning world like no other. With all the floral garden spaces, vintage ornate, quirky props, wooden gypsy caravans - I can tell lovers of things vintage and antique will definitely enjoy their time here.
On top of their indoor seating, La Laguna also provides alfresco seating option with colorful cushions over the floral garden and by the lagoon. This place draws a steady number of visitors particularly during sunset time due to their 30m long log-bridge opening out to the expansive Bali shoreline that will guarantee many insta-wise pictures.
Address:
Jl. Pura Kayu Putih, Tibubeneng, Canggu, Bali
Opening Hours:
11am - 11pm daily
So, the list will definitely not going to stop here, as I still have couple more places in Bali waiting to join the the list! In the meantime, can you share with me your favorites instead? Would definitely love to visit on my next trip (hint: pretty soon~)!
